This is one of our babies!So today I received the paperwork for our homestudy. Whew it is alot. I am not quit sure how we will pay for all this, but it will work out. We our hoping to do a fundraiser in the upcoming year. Thanks for all your comments guys it is so great to have support. I have told a couple people of our the endevour we are about to journey on, and some people don't understand why we dont just have one. I love my husband more than anything and one day if the timing is right we will try and have one, but for now, this is something I know we are suppost to do. If there is one child who I can better than life then I have to try.
Congrats on a wonderful decision to become parents. Having had children biologically and through adoption, the love you experience for your little one is the same.
ReplyDeleteSome people won't understand, and you will find that those who have experienced or are journeying through the adoption experience will be one of the greatest support systems ever. Congratulations on stepping out there and sharing your love with a child(ren) thru adoption!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie puppy! You will get so many questions from so many people with a million opinions. Just remember to ignore the stupids out there and lean on the supportive people in your life. And start teaching your friends and family to abolish phrases like "kids of your own". Your children you have through adoption will be no less your own than if you had given birth. They aren't rentals! Adoption is NOT second best!
